Noise Study

DESCRIPTION:

Tech was asked to perform a noise study for the mechanical roof top equipment proposed CVS Pharmacy to demonstrate compliance with the MassDEP Noise Policy. Tech performed nighttime sound monitoring at the nearest residences to the CVS and acoustic modeling to calculate future potential sound impacts. The results of the acoustic modeling analysis found the maximum sound level increases at the nearby residences to be in compliance with the MassDEP Noise Policy, and therefore, would not be considered a nuisance. Tech presented the results at the Winchester Zoning Board of Appeals meeting.
