Coffee Manufacturing Site Search

DESCRIPTION:

In response to the need for a new manufacturing facility, Mr. Jones led the site search and acquisition of an existing property in the Atlanta, GA area. He led the field review of 40 existing facilities across five southeast states. He developed a list of finalists based on input of internal teams, external experts and draft incentive packages from economic development partners. The scope of business needs, operations, and permitting logistics required Mr. Jones to apply unique development criteria for staffing availability, process emissions, raw materials management and incentives for capital investments. Based on all available incentives, permit expediting and real estate availability, he delivered a list of finalist properties to tour with corporate leaders for a selection of a target property. Mr. Jones successfully managed this project to closure with the acquisition of a facility that is currently under construction to support new manufacturing requirements.
