Two TD Bank Drive Thru ATMs

DESCRIPTION:

Tech performed sound studies of two proposed TD Bank locations that would have drive thru tellers and an ATMs located near residential houses in Belmont and West Concord, Massachusetts. The drive thru tellers would operate during the day and the ATMs would operate during both the daytime and at all hours of the night. For each proposed project, Tech conducted sound monitoring of the existing conditions at the nearest residences, and using 3-D acoustic modeling software calculated the sound level impacts of all proposed sound sources at the nearest property lines. The estimated sound levels were compared to the MassDEP Noise Policy, as well as local ordinances in the Belmont By-Law Limits. The sound studies concluded that each project would comply the most stringent noise limits applicable to the project, and would therefore be in compliance.
