Air Quality Consulting - Heating Plant NOx RACT Stack Test

DESCRIPTION:

As part of the Air Quality Consulting Services Contract, Tech Environmental has been overseeing the NOx RACT compliance test program at the Central Heating Plant (CHP) located at Massport's Logan Airport facility carried out by Eastmount Environmental Services, LLC. Testing is performed for CO and NOx under two fuel-burning scenarios (Oil and Natural Gas) each year as required by the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP) NOx RACT permit for the CHP. Over the past three years, the results of the stack testing has shown that the CHP boilers meet the CO and NOx emissions limits in the permit. Tech reviewed Eastmount's stack test report prior to filing it with Massport and MassDEP.
