GHG Analysis

DESCRIPTION:

Tech Environmental, Inc. prepared the greenhouse gas (GHG) study for a proposed two-building medical office project in Norwell. The study was used as part of the EENF/Waiver Request for the project, to satisfy the requirements of the MEPA GHG Policy and Protocol.

Tech provided the team with a building energy mitigation menu to review and approve, along with a list of design questions that will affect the energy modeling. Tech analyzed the energy use and CO₂ emissions for the development program using the U.S. Department of Energy eQUEST model, calculated project emissions, and prepared a detailed GHG report to satisfy the MEPA requirements.
