DESCRIPTION:

Tech Environmental, Inc. prepared the greenhouse gas (GHG) study for a proposed four story office and medical office building in Norwood, MA. The study was used as part of an Expanded EENF/Waiver Request for the project, to satisfy the requirements of the MEPA GHG Policy and Protocol.

Tech provided the team with a building energy mitigation menu to review and approve, along with a list of design questions that will affect the energy modeling. Tech analyzed the energy use and CO2 emissions for the development program using the U.S. Department of Energy eQUEST model, calculated project emissions, and prepared a detailed GHG report to satisfy the MEPA requirements.
