Septage Storage Odor Concerns

DESCRIPTION:

Tech Environmental was tasked with assessing the odor potential from a septage receiving, storage, and hauling facility. The goal was to determine if the facility has the odor potential to create an off-site nuisance condition in its current configuration. Although odor control is employed at the facility, there was still a potential for off-site odors.

Tech studied the situation and noted that the odors present typically require the implementation of multi-stage odor control systems for effective control. Tech recommended upgrading the odor control systems to reduce the odor potential.
