Residential Luxury Condominium Odor Concern

DESCRIPTION:

A luxury condominium owner was having trouble renting a penthouse unit that had a persistent residual odor. The facility had tried cleaning various components of the unit, but the odor was still persistent enough that the current tenants had to move out.

Tech Environmental examined the unit and located areas were odors can trap themselves and adhere to the construction materials and/or furnishings. Tech identified the odor and determined that it was only an odor concern and not a health concern. Tech identified components of the condominium for cleaning and others for replacement. 

Once the primary causes of the persistent odor were removed, Tech sanitized the air to oxidize the remaining odorants. The unit was returned to its original state and was once again a beautiful penthouse unit.
