Maynard Lifestyle Center

SERVICE:

Air Quality & Noise Studies for Redeveloped Shopping Center

DESCRIPTION:

Tech Environmental provided air quality and noise studies for the Maynard Lifestyle Center on Parker Street in Maynard to support local the local planning and zoning permit. The air quality study quantified the impacts of Diesel Particulate Matter (DPM) and diesel truck odor from the project's truck deliveries on the Field Street residential area and proved there will be no perceptible odor or health impact from the project's truck deliveries.

A separate noise analysis concluded that the sound of truck deliveries to the site will be imperceptible in the residential area, given the existing background traffic noise produced by Parker Street. TE's Managing Principal, Mr. Peter Guldberg, provided an Affidavit supporting the project in an on-going Land Court lawsuit brought by residents of Field Street.
