DESCRIPTION:

Tech Environmental performed an air quality impact study of the Outdoor Wood Boiler (OWB) operated by Louis Pezze at 2A Burgess Road in Foster, RI as it affects the neighboring residence of Stephen Charette at 2 Burgess Road. Mr. Charette has filed a civil suit against Mr. Pezze alleging health impacts from the OWB operation.

Tech performed air quality dispersion modeling, accounting for the unique shape of the Charette residence; the results demonstrate compliance with the EPA air quality standard (35 ug/m3) on the Charette property. TE's Managing Principal, Mr. Peter Guldberg, gave expert testimony for the defendant Pezze in Rhode Island Superior Court.
