DESCRIPTION:

Tech Environmental conducted a screening level indoor air quality (IAQ) investigation at the Park Place Building at BOSE's Framingham campus. The purpose of the investigation was to conduct a general assessment of the indoor air quality after mold remediation was conducted.

As part of this investigation, a site visit was conducted, including a visual inspection and air sampling at the Park Place building on BOSE's Framingham campus. Tech took airborne mold spore samples and continuous ambient air, temperature, and humidity samples. Previously, a tile sample had been taken to test for the presence of asbestos prior to the tile being removed as part of the remediation. The tile sample and the glue used on the tile were both found to not contain asbestos. Tech presented additional recommendations to BOSE in a letter report.
