DESCRIPTION:

A multi-operation aggregate site was flanked by residential communities and discharged quarry process water into a navigable water. Tech staff completed a field and file review of all site operations, requirements of local earth removal permits and wastewater discharge requirements. Through Tech's assessment, the permit compliance strategies for water discharge and earth removal activities required updating to maximize performance and keep these programs in good standing at the state DEP and local Earth Removal Advisory Committee. Tech Environmental continues to provide noise and dust compliance measurements to satisfy the local permit.
