Southbridge Landfill Source Registration

DESCRIPTION:

Tech Environmental was retained by Casella Waste Systems to prepare the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP) annual source registration for the Southbridge, MA landfill under a very tight deadline. Tech worked closely with Casella's environmental staff to obtain the necessary data needed to prepare the source registration.

Tech developed emissions estimates for the landfill gas (LFG) collection system and open flare, based on 2007 operating data provided by Casella and prepared the online source registration submittal for MassDEP. Tech also assisted Casella with submitting the source registration to DEP on time.
