Aggregate Industries Air Quality

SERVICE:

Implementation of State Air Quality Consent Decree

DESCRIPTION:

A Consent Decree was issued by the State of Massachusetts at an Aggregate plant, which required the development of site practices for: accurately logging and maintaining process fuel usage; maintaining monthly air emission summaries; and preparing air quality permits to reconcile all equipment and operating scenarios. Tech staff directly managed a return to compliance strategies for air quality, hazardous waste and spill prevention compliance programs. Tech staff also coordinated and implemented spill prevention and response training programs (SPCC) and managed site-level hazardous waste generation classification and reporting. Tech submitted ten updated air quality permit applications based on filing deadlines established in the Decree.
