DESCRIPTION:

A Verizon Wireless telecommunications facility was proposed at the Windsor County Probate Courthouse/Sheriff's Department in Woodstock, Vermont. The site was bounded by a busy highway, gas station, a town owned garage, and a vacant property.

Tech Environmental completed a noise study which determined the existing sound levels, and the future sound levels that would be produced by a new emergency generator in the existing structure. The study concluded that new emergency generator facility would fully comply with the Village of Woodstock Zoning Regulations Performance Standard and would not have an undue adverse noise impact on the community.
