Lowe's Allston Project on Guest Street

Lowe's Air Quality & Noise Impact Analyses

DESCRIPTION:

A new Lowe's store was proposed for a location at 40 Guest Street in Allston, Massachusetts. An air quality and noise analyses was required to satisfy the Boston Redevelopment Authority's review of the project.

Tech Environmental completed both the air quality and noise analyses for the proposed project to determine conformance with the Massachusetts and National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS).  Tech demonstrated that carbon monoxide levels at intersections met the level-of-service (LOS) criteria required, that the project complied with the HUD residential noise criteria, and with the City of Boston and Massachusetts Noise Regulations at nearby sensitive locations.
