DESCRIPTION:

Two cell phone towers, serving multiple wireless carriers, in Arlington, Vermont, operated by TowerCo, required sound compliance testing in a rural area, to satisfy the Town of Arlington zoning ordinance.

Tech Environmental performed sound level compliance testing at the TowerCo sites with technicians present from all tenant wireless carriers to turn on HVAC equipment and emergency generators for the testing. The testing concluded that the facilities' sound levels complied with the Town's Zoning Ordinance limit at all property lines and beyond, which was extremely restrictive because of the rural location.
