DESCRIPTION:

A proposed Lowe's development project was under construction in Nashua, NH. The developer desired air quality monitoring for particulate matter to determine whether construction activity at the site was causing an unhealthy concentration of PM2.5 at a nearby residence.

Tech collected measurements to determine the level of particulate matter, for both fine particulate matter (PM2.5) and coarse particulate matter (PM10). The 24-hour average particulate matter concentrations were determined to be safely in compliance with the New Hampshire and National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS), which have been designed to protect the health of the most sensitive persons in the population and to protect the public's welfare (vegetation, property, etc.), with a margin for safety.
