DESCRIPTION:

A Massachusetts paper mill needed air quality consulting support in responding to a MassDEP data request related to opacity.

Tech assisted the facility in achieving compliance with MassDEP opacity regulations. Tech reviewed air permits, recent emission test reports, and opacity strip chart records, and developed a strategy for responding to DEP. Tech also prepared a "Plan of Good Operating Practices" for the facility to use in the future.
