SERVICE:
Sound Consulting Services
DESCRIPTION:
A sound study was needed for a Verizon Wireless Telecommunications facility in Springfield, Vermont. The noise compliance test was required to establish if the actual sound pressure levels emitted to the outdoor environment by the equipment are equal-to, or less-than the sound level claimed by the manufacturer.
Tech performed a noise compliance test made for the emergency generator. A Tech acoustic engineer took sound level measurements and calculated predicted impacts. Several members of the Springfield Planning Commission witnessed the test, which demonstrated that the actual sound pressure levels emitted to the outdoor environment by the equipment were actually lower than the sound level attested to by the manufacturer.
Key Points
- A sound study was needed for a Verizon Wireless Telecommunications facility in Springfield, Vermont, to check manufacturer claims about sound levels.
