DESCRIPTION:

A Scrub-A-Dub Car Wash needed a sound study to demonstrate compliance with MassDEP limits as part of a settlement agreement with nearby neighbors.

Tech conducted noise compliance testing at the property line of a nearby residence to document sound levels and fulfill the conditions of a settlement agreement. The frequency spectrums from the monitoring period indicated that no pure tone condition existed, and that the current sound reduction measures in place within the Scrub-a-Dub Car Wash were more than adequate to reduce and control the noise created from the drying blowers to acceptable levels.
