RES Permit and Online Source Registration

DESCRIPTION:

The Boston Public Health Commission needed assistance in revising its Restricted Emissions Status (RES) Approval to give the Commission more flexibility and fewer fuel usage restrictions. The Commission also needed assistance to prepare its online source registration each year using the eDEP program.

Tech submitted a permit application to modify the RES permit to give the Commission greater flexibilty and fewer fuel usage restrictions.  This change allowed the Commission to add additional emission units and remain a minor source, avoiding substantial permitting requirements.  As part of the annual Source Registration submittal, the Commission's equipment was reviewed and the emissions were calculated.  This information was submitted to the MassDEP using the online eDEP program.
