DESCRIPTION:

A proposed office park project in Wallingford, CT required an air quality impact assessment. Tech performed a microscale air quality analysis for carbon monoxide (CO) for the roadways surrounding the office project as well as for the parking lots and access roadways that are part of the project. CO emissions from the peak-hour traffic were modeled at nearby receptors. Maximum one-hour and eight-hour CO concentrations were established and compared to Connecticut and National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS). Tech's analysis demonstrated that the project would not have an adverse impact on air quality.
