Third-Party Noise Assessment Review

DESCRIPTION:

A proposed DPW facility adjacent to a residential area required a noise assessment to determine if the facility would comply with community noise guidelines.  The assessment was completed by another environmental firm.  There was a concern that the assessment was insufficent.  The DPW desired a third-party review of the assessment.

Tech reviewed the assessment and provided a list of discrepancies and possible improvements to ensure that the facility would be in compliance with a local noise ordinance.
