Emergency Generator Permitting

DESCRIPTION:

The ING Office Building in Windsor, CT was required to determine noise and air emissions from proposed emergency generators and compliance with CT regulations.

Tech Environmental conducted a review of the specifications for the proposed emergency generators and Connecticut air pollution control regulations.  Tech determined that the generators were exempt from obtaining an air permit due to their low emissions and limited use for emergency backup power.  Tech calculated emssions and certified the exemption, provided that the generators satisfied a series of conditions.
