Air Quality and Noise Analyses

DESCRIPTION:

An air quality and noise analysis was required for the Site Assignment of a construction and demolition (C&D) waste facility proposed in Devens, Massachusetts.  The project proposed a 1,500 ton per day (tpd) transfer station for recycling C&D waste. 

Tech performed an air quality and noise analysis for the project and its associated truck traffic.  The studeies concluded that the proposed waste transfer facility would fully comply with all air quality and noise standards and would not adversely affect public health in Devens or nearby Ayer.  Public testimony on the studies was provided at a Site Assignment hearing.
