Noise Impact Analysis for Quarry

DESCRIPTION:

Tech was selected to prepare a noise impact analysis for a stone quarry in Moretown, Vermont, as part of Vermont's Act 250 permitting process. The Scope of Work included: sound level monitoring, modeling of truck noise on roadways, modeling of quarry operational noise, and the preparation of testimony for Act 250 hearings.

Tech included noise mitigation measures in the modeling, and predicted resultant potential sound levels at all nearby residences. These sound levels were in compliance with the most stringent Town of Moretown and Vermont Environmental Board sound level limits.
