Exterior Lighting Study

DESCRIPTION:

A furniture retailer in Reading, Massachusetts was asked to respond to a consultant's report regarding its exterior lighting.  Complaints had been made about the parking lot lighting at the store and its effects on the neighboring residential communities.  The Massachusetts Energy Code had recently been revised to include limits on exterior light luminance.  The consultant's report stated that the exterior lighting did not comply with the Code.

Lighting luminance calculation performed by Tech showed that the exterior lighting at the store was in compliance with the Massachusetts Energy Code.
