Steam Boiler Feasibility Study

DESCRIPTION:

General Dynamics was considering the installation of new steam boilers at three of its facilities.  The company requested an analysis of the feasibility of installing this equipment with respect to federal and state environmental permitting requirements.

Tech provided a summary of the federal and state air quality permitting requirements for the new boilers.  This report addressed concerns including:  fuel, emission rates, testing and recordkeeping requirements, and stack requirements.  In addition, wastewater, chemical storage, and water use requirements were investigated.
