Emissions Tracking and Reporting

DESCRIPTION:

Charlton Memorial Hospital operates boilers and emergency generators and owns and operates vehicles that generate greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. The Hospital needed assistance in keeping track of the new regulations regarding emissions tracking and reporting for GHG emissions, as they became subject to the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP) GHG reporting program. Tech worked closely with the Hospital to ensure that their first online reporting of GHG emissions to MassDEP was submitted accurately and on time.  Tech compiled fuel usage data for all stationary sources at the Hospital as well as information on mobile sources such as vehicle miles/gallons and on refrigerant usage. Tech used this data to calculate GHG emissions and enter usage data into the electronic GHG emissions reporting program.
